With more than 25 years of experience in financial management and strategic planning, Dan Co-Founded Tandem Care Associates in 2017. Prior to Forming Tandem Care, he was Founder of BayState Data Connections and Merchant Financial Services. He brings that experience to Tandem Care Associates and uses it every day as he plays a key role in improving efficiencies in the delivery of care to clients. Dan oversees all financial aspects of the business including accounting practices, budgeting, financial planning, and monitoring overall performance. With the changing climate in healthcare and the shift in focus for elders remaining in their homes, Dan has seen this as an opportunity to bring his background of efficiency and technology to this growing field.
Dan earned his BS in Computer Information Systems and AS in Management from Bentley University. Dan has fulfilled his Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in an effort to understand both the needs of his clients and staff. You can find him golfing on the weekend or spending time with his two sons and daughter along the coast of New Hampshire and Maine.
With more than 30 years of experience in financial investments and relationship management, John co-founded Tandem Care Associates in 2017. Prior to founding Tandem Care, John was Executive Director of Institutional Sales and Relationship Management at Morgan Stanley and Director of Marketing and Client Service at Sirios Capital Management. John brings his expertise in forming strong relationships to Tandem Care Associates. John oversees all client and caregiver relationships.
John earned a BSBA in Marketing Management with a minor in Communications from Stonehill College. John is a certified Home Health Aide (HHA), a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), a Dementia Friend and a Purple Table Ambassador. He is a current Member of the Board of Visitors at The Fenn School and a past Trustee. He brings the philosophy of “community helping community” to his role as co-founder of Tandem Care. John and his wife Carolyn have lived in Carlisle, MA for almost 25 years while raising three sons.
A dynamic healthcare market development leader with a passion for excellence and a deep devotion to seniors and their families, Emily holds an undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Massachusetts where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. With effective polished communication and public speaking skills, Emily is sought after to speak at various venues and is presently developing an empowerment program for caregivers.
With over 15 years of management experience in healthcare, long term care, home care and senior services, Emily possesses expertise and a unique skill set. Results oriented and highly motivated, Emily is able to target areas of greatest return and independently develop strategies and implement innovations in relationship building. Prior to Tandem Care, Emily served as a Regional Marketing Director for CareOne, one of the largest providers of senior care services, including skilled nursing facilities.
With strong problem solving skills from years of consulting with hundreds of clients and families through support, education and guidance as well as providing solutions for the challenges faced, Emily helps clients and their families navigate the difficult waters throughout transitions of care to optimize seamless care outcomes across the spectrum. With the changing face of healthcare, where managing patients outside of an acute or subacute setting is central, the need to creatively and skillfully manage clients’ care in the home setting is integral.
Emily’s success comes from the joy of inspiring others and is skilled at uniting people together professionally. She is part of several provider networking groups and community organizations including Emerson Hospital Auxiliary, The Armenian Business Network and is a Board Advisor for the Institute for Safety in Office-based Surgery (ISOBS). Emily was previously on the committee for and served as the spokesperson for Moving Day Boston for the National Parkinson Foundation.
When not working, Emily can be found spending time with her daughter Gianna and her family and friends, as well as her cavachon Basil. Emily also enjoys creating Epicurean delights in the kitchen and practicing mindfulness.
